At the American Precision Museum, once the Robbins and Lawrence Armory, the development of firearms manufacturers led to many industrial innovations in Windsor. The development of these precision machines, originally used for gun manufacturing, led to precision manufacturing of objects such as bikes, sewing machines, and other consumer goods.
