Inside of the Grace Brethren Church in Morrisville is the only southern bell in the state of Vermont. Purchased at auction by a congregation member in Boston, this ornate bell got its start in Louisiana where it was going to be melted down and used for cannon balls in the Civil War before the North captured it and sent it to Boston.
