Public Programs

The Vermont Historical Society is committed to sharing Vermont's story through programming, exhibits, and other public history initiatives both in-person and online. Vermont History Trivia
The Vermont History Trivia kit is available to historical societies, museums, libraries, and other cultural or nonprofit institutions to use for a fun, lighthearted program that can appeal to a range of audiences. The kit is available in multiple formats: all-digital, questions only or questions & prizes, with a range of pricing. In 2026 we will be hosting "250th Vermont History Trivia" events at locations all around the state. 

Featuring Our Collections & This Place in History
VHS produces videos featuring items from our museum and archival collections, as well as our popular This Place in History program produced in conjunction with Local 22/44. You can find these videos and more on our Youtube Channel.
