Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge
In 1886, the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge was built, and it connected "dry" Vermont to "wet" New Hampshire. Up until 2008, this popular "kissing bridge," at 449 feet long, was the longest covered bridge in the United States.
This Place in History is produced in partnership by Local 22 & Local 44 (www.mychamplainvalley.com) and the Vermont Historical Society.
