Burlington's booming lumber industry

Long before Burlington's waterfront was a destination for recreation, it was the site of a bustling commercial sector, with companies shipping lumber and other goods up and down Lake Champlain. Vermont Historical Society Executive Director Steve Perkins and ABC 22 & Fox 44 Anchor Mike Hoey explore how the Army Corps of Engineers helped make the waterfront suitable for shipping.
