NHD Contest Schedule
Preliminary Information for the 2023 Contest
- April 12: Registration Opening Date. The registration fees are $160 for students, $60 for teachers
- May 16: Registration Closing Date & project submission deadlines (11:59 pm). Process papers & annotated bibliographies must be submitted at this time for ALL categories.
- May 18: Deadline to sign-up for VHS to transport your exhibit and performance props to the National Contest. There is a $20 transportation charge per project. (Contact us to discuss extra-large projects.)
- June 1: Check payments for registration must be received at the NHD Offic
- June 5-9: Exhibit & props drop-off at Vermont History Center in Barre. Distribution of t-shirts & buttons
