Registration is now open for the 2026 LLHSM Conference!

Registration is now open for the 2026 LLHSM Conference being held May 8th at the Saint Albans Museum in St. Albans. This meeting is the largest yearly gathering of local history and museum professionals in the state, and it's a chance to network and learn with colleagues in a supportive environment.

This Year's Theme is "How History Works".

There are a few ways we can think about how history “works.” It is the nuts & bolts of doing history. It can also be the function it holds in our lives. Join us in exploring both practical examples of history projects & tools, alongside sessions and discussions that help us in thinking about the value history holds to our communities.

There are a lot of wonderful sessions to choose from, everything from how to make a box to store an artifact, to researching & sharing immigrant history.

Registration fees are $35 for VHS members, $50 for non-members. Details & the registration link can be found here.

Support provided by the Walter Cerf Community Fund.
