Virtual National History Day 2020

Forty-nine Vermont students competed in Virtual National History Day!

Congratulations to the Best of Vermont winners:

Junior Division - Alara Kohn, Ella Averbeck, Hazel Green, Maggie Kords, and Somerset Pierce from Main Street Middle School for their Junior Group Documentary entitled “Katherine Johnson and Mae Carol Jemison: Breaking Barriers in NASA."  Their teacher is Don Taylor.

Senior Division - Abagail Hunter from Poultney High School for her Senior Individual Performance entitled “From the Osage Tribe to Prima Ballerina: How Maria Tallchief Broke Artistic Barriers.” Her teacher is Keith Harrington.
