Description
Silver casket plate. Inscribed onto the center of the plate are the words "Ira R. Kent / Died Oct. 9th 1875 / Aged 42 years." The top edge of the plate is rolled with fringe on either side creating the illusion of a scroll. The plate has an engraved vine border on the side and bottom edges. The plate is mildly tarnished with four ballpoint pen size holes in each corner.

Oval casket plate. Possibly quadruple plated, the plate is inscribed, "Inez R.A. Kent / Died June 8th 1874 / Aged 32 years" with scrolling floral decoration around the words. There is a delicate floral border just inside the rolled edge of the plate.
