Oval mourning brooch. The brooch contains a woven medallion of blonde hair edged with a narrow plait beneath a clear glass window. It is surrounded by 2 gold bands and a black enamel band.

Coffin Plate

Silver casket plate. Inscribed onto the center of the plate are the words "Ira R. Kent / Died Oct. 9th 1875 / Aged 42 years." The top edge of the plate is rolled with fringe on either side creating the illusion of a scroll. The plate has an engraved vine border on the side and bottom edges. The plate is mildly tarnished with four ballpoint pen size holes in each corner.

Coffin Plate

Oval casket plate. Possibly quadruple plated, the plate is inscribed, "Inez R.A. Kent / Died June 8th 1874 / Aged 32 years" with scrolling floral decoration around the words. There is a delicate floral border just inside the rolled edge of the plate.

Curtis and Kent Families Memorial

Memorial watercolor. The painting shows a symbolic landscape with stone memorials, weeping willows, and rivers with boats. The middle ground is dominated by two oversized memorials. The memorial on the left contains Kent family names, while the memorial on the right contains Kent, Curtis, and Chase family names.

Silver-colored metal coffin plate. The plate is rectangular with scrolled edges and has a small pin-sized hole in each corner for mounting. The center is engraved, "Achsa W. Sprague / Agd 34 ys 8 mo. / Passed away July 6th 1862."
