James P. Taylor 1934James P. Taylor, 1934.We are in the process of scanning photographs taken by or collected by James P. Taylor (1872-1949), founder of the Green Mountain Club (1909) and Secretary of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce (1922-1949). His photos were taken primarily in the 1910s through the 1930s. Taylor was interested in making Vermont a more attractive and accessible place for tourists. We have divided these photos into several "sets" and have posted them on Flickr, the photo sharing web site.
