Student from Flood Brook School in Londonderry  working on mapping projectStudent from Flood Brook School in Londonderry working on mapping project Students in the seventh and eighth grade at Flood Brook School worked with the Peru, Landgrove, Londonderry, and Weston historical societies on a week-long history institute.  During the institute, students learned about the history of the different communities through hands-on research that was guided by both the classroom teachers and historical society members.  By the end of the week, each student had created a "village quest" that other community members could follow to learn about the history of their town.
