Congratulations to all the Vermont History Day students who qualified to attend National History Day. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the 2021 National Contest will be a virtual contest the week of June 13-19, 2021.

Important dates

Sunday, June 13, 2021: Welcome Ceremony webcast and Vermont viewing party. Join us on Zoom at 2:30 for the annual Vermont/NHD Ice Cream Party - sorry, you have to bring your own ice cream! (Look for an email with the Zoom link.) The NHD Welcome Ceremony starts at 3:00.

Contest week events and programs: https://www.nhd.org//virtual-programs-2021 Open to all students and teachers. There will also be a virtual NHD affiliate button hunt.

Saturday, June 19, 2021: Awards Ceremony webcast and Vermont viewing party. Join us on Zoom at 3:00 for the Awards Ceremony watch party. (Look for an email with the Zoom link.) We always win the Best of Vermont awards for the junior and senior division!

Participating students will receive an official Vermont History Day state t-shirt.

There are no judge interviews for the national contest. After the awards ceremony, students will receive feedback from the judges about their projects.
