StorageSince 1838, we have collected and preserved nearly 30,000 artifacts that were made by, used by, or otherwise associated with the lives of Vermonters—for today and for future generations.

Each artifact represents a moment in time and tells a story about Vermonters who came before us. The collections range from prehistoric archaeological artifacts to contemporary household items.

You can view highlights of our collections in these online exhibits: Quilt Collection, Faces of Vermont, Rugg Collection.
