Freedom & Unity: One Ideal, Many Stories, is our award-winning permanent exhibit at the Vermont History Museum in Montpelier. Opened in 2004, this is the only exhibit that portrays the entire breadth and depth of Vermont’s history. The exhibit has over 12,000 visitors ever year, including 5,000 students on school fieldtrips. As the museum is a key educational resource for both teachers and students, the Vermont Historical Society is responsible for ensuring the content is credible and inclusive of important people and events. We updated the exhibit for the first time in 2017, and continue to add stories from the recent past.
Help us upgrade the technology in the exhibit and make the Museum more interactive and inviting by donating the funds for one or more of the following wish list items:
• Sponsor ONE iPad ($500) – 5 needed
• Sponsor ONE Display, Panel, or Exhibit Case ($500) – 10 needed
Thanks to your support, the Vermont Historical Society’s Freedom & Unity exhibit will remain a key educational resource for Vermont’s teachers and students.
