July 4th Closure

The Vermont History Museum in Montpelier will be closed in observance of Independence Day, Saturday, July 4th. It will reopen for its normal hours on Tuesday, July 7th. 

Here's an item from our collection: an American Flag that was “bought on armistice day” (November 11th, 1918) and given to VHS by an unknown donor.
