All In Vermont: Partnering to Tell Vermont’s Stories 
In-Person Workshop

All in Vermont invites local historical societies to play a vital role in partnering directly with educators and students to bring community history to life. This initiative connects students with the rich collections, expertise, and stories held within their own communities, creating meaningful, place-based learning experiences rooted in authentic primary sources.

As a partner, your organization will collaborate with educators to help students explore local history, ask compelling questions, and develop research entries grounded in materials from your collections. Whether it’s a photograph, diary, artifact, or oral history, your resources become the spark for student inquiry and discovery.

To support this work, the Vermont Historical Society is offering an in-person workshop designed for partner organizations. This session will introduce the All in Vermont project, walk through its core components, and provide practical guidance on working with teachers and students. 

Join a statewide network of historical societies and educators working together to ensure that Vermont’s stories are explored, preserved, and shared by the next generation. The workshop is Free!
