A Comparative Look at the History of Eugenics in Vermont

Join the Center for Research on Vermont on Thursday, October 17th for a reception, talk, and open discussion on the history of Vermont Eugenics with Mercedes de Guardiola, author of "Vermont for the Vermonters": The History of Eugenics in the Green Mountain State and Nancy Gallagher, author of Breeding Better Vermonters: The Eugenics Project in the Green Mountain State.

This talk will cover a basic history of eugenics in Vermont and will offer a comparative look at Vermont Eugenics in the national sphere. This Public Forum is co-presented by The Center for Research on Vermont and UVM's Department of English.
