Exhibits

The Vermont Historical Society recently opened the Vermont Heritage Galleries, located at the Vermont History Center in Barre. Three special exhibits are open to the public including Vermont in the Civil War, The Granite City, and Icons, Oddities & Wonders. In Montpelier, the Vermont History Museum features the award-winning Freedom and Unity exhibit with Vermont history from 1600 to the present. There is also a hallway exhibit area at the museum currently showing Plowing Old Ground: Vermont's Organic Farming Pioneers.
