Vermont History Field Trips
A Day in Montpelier Vermont’s Capital City offers great civics and history opportunities for your students. Many groups combine a trip to our exhibit with a trip to the State House or a program at the Supreme Court. We can also provide a self-guided historic walking tour of Montpelier. Contact the Field Trip Coordinator at the Vermont State House at (802) 828-1411 to arrange your day in Montpelier. You Be the Historian
The popular hands-on program “You Be the Historian” is also offered at the museum for grades 4 through 9. Through the use of photographs, written records, objects, and archaeological evidence, students discover what it takes to uncover the mysteries of Vermont’s past. There is a materials fee of $2.00 per student.
