Vermont History Day Help and Research @ UVM Libraries, 538 Main Street, Burlington
• 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Meet with librarians at UVM's Bailey/Howe Library and find help and resources for your Vermont History Day research project. Attendees can get help focusing research, developing research strategies, locating primary and secondary sources, evaluating sources, and developing a bibliography. Bailey/Howe is the largest library in Vermont and an excellent stop for anyone researching national or international topics. In addition to the main collection and databases, the library houses a Government Information Repository, and students with Vermont topics can visit Special Collections to get help finding primary sources in the Vermont Research Collection.

Pre-registration is required using this form. Space is limited. Please register by Sunday, February 4th.

New this year - an optional Submission Deadline for documentary entries. In hopes of preventing some of the technical difficulties that happen with documentary presentations at the state contest, students who wish to sumbit their documentaries online must do so by midnight on April 2 using the web-based file-sharing application WeTransfer. See the instructions for details.

Students who do not submit their documentaries in advance must bring their projects to the state contest.
