During the 2006-2007 school year, students in the after-school history club at Middletown Springs Elementary School worked with Middletown Springs Historical Society members to learn about the changes in their community over the past 150 years. They specifically focused on buildings in the village. Students examined  old maps and photographs and participated in guided historic walks around the village.
