Tunbridge
During the 2006-2007 school-year, eighth graders at the Tunbridge Central School worked with the Tunbridge Historical Society on an oral history project in which they interviewed and photographed elders in the community to document the history of Tunbridge. For the final project, students produced a documentary video about the Tunbridge residents they had interviewed, showed photographs of the individuals, and utilized sound clips from the interviews.
During the 2007-2008 school year, a new group of seventh grade students at Tunbridge Central School continued to work with the Tunbridge Historical Society on an oral history project. This year students focused on newer residents of Tunbridge, specifically individuals who moved to Tunbridge as adults.
